So... it's no surprise that the world is fucked. It has been since the begginning of the existance of the human race. But it's in games that I realize more and more that this is absolutely true... And this particular game is Overwatch, a first person shooter developed by Blizzard, the giants behind such games as Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft and so on and so forth... It's an amazing game, I absolutely love it in many ways but there's a thing about this game that really makes me want to punch walls until my knuckles start bleeding. Its player base... Oh my fucking gods is it filled with idiots. Now, in a normal game aka quick play I wouldn't text anything to anyone, I would simply suck it up and move on into another game, because that's all that is to it. But in competitive it's a whole new story...
Competitive matches in Overwatch are done by seasons which last 3 months and they have ranks through which you can climb to become the best. There's Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster and Top 500 (best 500 players but technically they are Grandmaster still).
These ranks are acquired by playing 10 placements matches that determine in which ranking you will be placed.
All good and jolly stuff so far right? Yep, until you finished the 10 placement matches, you get placed in gold and start playing with randoms in solo queue because you don't have friends playing the game or they just don't care about the game as much as you do.
What I hate about solo queue is that it takes you about a week or 2 to go 200 season ranking points up and it takes you an afternoon to go 200 SRP down. Yes my friends, it's like that... Not only that but to find an actual decent team it takes around 5 matches or even more and then it's back to the gutter to grind your points back through the infinite amount of teams filled with idiots.
I kid you not folks, it's been unbelievable the amount of fucktards i've been finding in this game... They do not perform well so they blame it on you. Why? Because you talked on microphone to talk back to them and try to give some advice so they throw every rock they can at you.
Then there's the fucktards who are usually kids who pick a hero in the roster that is absolutely useless for the team and map dynamics, but they want to prove a point and let you know that it's a good character no matter what... Guess what, 98% of the time they fail miserably and blame it on you. That's right. Because they're never wrong. You are!
Then as if that wasn't enough, last Friday I got matched with a team that had a party of 5 where 1 admitted to be drunk and then said that 4 of them were drunk. To this I say : Last week I got drunk myself, I wanted to play Overwatch, sure... but I played No Limits gamemode just for the heck of it... And, for my surprise... when I started to call them to attention to play the game properly, they ganged up on me... no shit, it's a party and i'm 1. It felt like those fools who're super tough because they walk in gangs of 4 or 5 and shit. This is super sad as the game is amazing but i've been seeing a huge toxic community... not every player is, but there's way more than it should. At times it literally feels like i'm playing League of Legends and I absolutely hate that.
Anyways, it's a shame but as I always say... I love the game and I will keep coming back to it because it's awesome and at times very fun. Just asking that if you have friends that play the game in a competitive manner, get me into your friends, their friends, all the friends so that we can play properly... I like adapting to the situations myself and to the dynamics of the game.
That's that... another rant. (What's new?)

Today's World...
So I was just thinking to myself as I often do... Clearing my mind on thoughts about what's going on with todays world, how it is run, how people act amongst each other and I was coming to some realizations that meant something to me so I figured... what the hell, let's make a post on the blog since I haven't done any in so long.
So, today everyone feels like they matter to some extent and I blame social network and internet for this, because there's no standard quality patterns to meet when you are posting on your Facebook or Twitter walls... It's whatever goes on your mind, you can say there. Wether it's something actually worth reading or you're just shitting on something or somebody because you're too stupid to understand it, but everyone nowadays has their opinion... Is that good? Is that bad? Well, let's think about it.
If we analize it correctly and we are honest with ourselves, we can realize easily and quickly that there are much more stupid people than actually decent and calm people and again, I blame the internet and the anonymity it allows... People hide in front of their screens and keyboards easily under a made up nickname and an image or a picture from google or somewhere else. This allows people to say whatever they want without consequences and the only consequences there are is that someone rats you out if you say something really nasty and you get under suspicion of a crime or you mess with a knowledged hacker that will teach you a lesson. But, let's face it folks, the chances of this happening are minimum to none, unfortunately...
Because the people that do this, will keep on doing it because they are not getting any consequences out of their actions, therefore it doesn't feel like it's a bad thing. Some people live their lives just to mess up yours, they wake up, get on the internet and they just want to make you miserable.
As I quote so many times from the movie Batman, as Alfred says to Bruce : "...some men, just wanna watch the world burn", I know that this is absolutely truthful more and more as days go by.
You hardly feel any remorse from saying bad and toxic words to someone you don't know, you can't see and probably will never meet.
With that said, I honestly miss the times of my childhood of walking and running around, respectfully towards others, exploring nature, exploring our surroundings, getting hurt and learning from that, getting beat up whenever we did something bad... I got hit from my grandparents many times when I fucked up and yet here I am, a respectful (and very proud of it) human being.
I didn't turn against society, I didn't become a serial killer and it's absolutely dumb of people nowadays to think that applying a slight little bit of violence to your children is wrong and abusive. Sure, yell at them once or twice every two minutes, while they carry on messing the chilling time other people try to have in a cafe...
Another thing that bothers me about humans and todays world is how addicted and how much we consume technology. Don't get me wrong here folks, I love technology myself... It's interesting (to a certain extent, sometimes it gets too stupid), but we're far too deep into it already.
We are spending money on needless gadgets all the time. We are spending money on things that are very easily outdated and out of fashion because the media and the companies say so... And that's ridiculous.
Some people buy an iPhone every single year and to those idiots, you're just feeding their theories that the sheep will just go after every piece of "candy" they throw if the sheep do a "roll on the floor" (for example). Meaning every year you buy a piece, they will just keep on doing it because they're quite comfortable with that business model... I know I would!
This goes out to everything...! Gadgets, vehicles, games... As long as you keep on "eating" everything, they will keep on "feeding" it!
Anyways folks, thanks for reading this rant of mine... I will try to post some more and something else some other time. Those who know me, know that i'm a machine for hating things... hahaha! Cheers!

Ok, so it should be known at this point, for people into Blizzard Entertainment and specifically Overwatch, that the game is at a state that...
